Intended purpose

The Auto Ref/Keratometer is an electrically powered ophthalmic device used by healthcare professionals to objectively measure refractive error by analysing reflected light from the patient's eye(s). It measures sphere, cylinder, axis and/or higher-order aberrations and automatically calculates the lens prescription required for vision correction.
