Intended purpose

Elastomerics are intended for orthodontic movement of teeth (ligatures) or to apply pressure to the jaw to correct alignment (elastic bands) as diagnosed by an orthodontist.

Functional description

Plastic Ligatures, Plastic Chains, Separators, Tie Tubing, Plastic Ties, Sleeves, Wedges. A device, which may consist of different configurations, of elastomeric material in the shape of small circles (ligatures), chains or threads with various orthodontic applications. Elastic band (polymeric or rubber band or thread) is used for the movement of teeth and oral structures by orthodontic procedures.
