Intended purpose

This is a metallic device that is a bracket that is intended to be used during orthodontic treatment in the mouth by being bonded to an orthodontic band, or directly on to the tooth surface. This device is used to hold an orthodontic wire and/or other appliance applying pressure to the tooth in order to alter the position of the tooth in the mouth.
