Intended purpose
A progressive device designed to influence and change the shape and/or function of the stomatognathic system by using a series of preformed teeth aligners / positioners. These aligners are worn in succession over a period of time and changed at regular intervals as prescribed. The aligners are custom-made for each patient utilising computer-generated modelling based on initial impressions or scans, with the final positioning of teeth determined in consultation with orthodontists and/or treating dentists. The device is typically made of clear plastic and is single-use.
