Intended purpose

Intended to be used to measure otoacoustic emissions (OAE) for the assessment of cochlear functions in infants, children and adults. This device can utilise ear plugs for neonates etc. A distinction is made between transitory otoacoustic emissions (TEOAE) and distorsively produced otoacoustic emissions (DPOAE).
