Intended purpose
The port safety plug is intended for use in the unused connector port of a Medtronic IPG or ICD.
Functional description
The pin-plug is a stainless steel pin encased within a silicone sleeve. The pin-plug is designed to seal the unused port of a Medtronic implantable pulse generator or implantable cardiac defibrillator.
