Intended purpose

An electronic device used for 24 hour ambulatory, noninvasive measurement and monitoring of blood pressure. Parameters displayed are usually current heart rate and mean arterial pressures in addition to systolic and diastolic blood pressure. It uses a self-contained program for proper functioning and automatic cuff inflation and measurement cycles.
