Brain Anaesthesia Response Monitor (BAR Monitor) - Patient monitor, anaesthesia depth

Intended purpose

The BAR Monitor is intended to assist medical professionals to monitor the state of the brain to determine the impact of anaesthetic agents. This is performed by real time data acquisition and the processing of electroencephalography (EEG) signals through a single-use bio-compatible sensor. The BAR Monitor displays a patient’s EEG and Composite Cortical State (CCS), a proprietary computed EEG index that is related to the effect of certain anaesthetic agents.
