Intended purpose

AlignRT Plus is a video based three-dimensional (3D) surface imaging system intended for use in radiotherapy by radiotherapy professionals for: - surface guided radiation therapy techniques - interfacing with the radiotherapy system for beam gating and beam hold for different treatment types including respiratory gating - verification of the patient's identity prior to radiation treatment - visualization of the Cherenkov signal associated with the radiation beam on entry and exist from the patient The AlignRT Plus system is intended for use during simulation, setup and delivery of precision radiotherapy for lesions, tumours and conditions anywhere in the body where radiation is indicated, including cranial and extracranial stereotactic procedures.
