Intended purpose
The Twin-Pass Torque catheter is intended to access discrete regions of the coronary and/or peripheral vasculature. It may be used to facilitate placement and exchange of guidewires and to subselectively infuse/deliver diagnostic and therapeutic agents.
Functional description
The Twin-Pass Torque dual access catheter is a dual lumen catheter consisting of an over-the-wire lumen that runs the full length of the catheter and a rapid exchange delivery lumen on the distal segment. The distal section of the catheter has a hydrophilic coating. The catheter has 2 radiopaque marker bands to identify the two exit points, and two positioning marks which are not visible under fluoroscopy.
