Intended purpose

A sterile, single-use peripheral intravenous cannula intended for short-term venous access to administer fluids, blood products or medicines, and to sample blood. The safety variants (plastic cage or metallic clip) are designed to reduce the risk of needlestick injury after withdrawal of the needle. The device is for use by qualified healthcare professionals.
