Intended purpose

The devices are rehabilitation or compensation devices intended to provide flexion and extension of joints in adult and pediatric individuals with motor dysfunction and/or muscle weakness related to injuries or diseases that affect the physiological functioning of the limbs. The devices electrically stimulate muscles and nerves of the affected limb to provide joint movements. The devices may also: facilitate muscle re-education, prevent/retard disuse atrophy, maintain or increase joint range of motion, increase local blood flow.
