Intended purpose

Sectra Core is intended for the management, archiving, and communication of medical images and other related medical information. It can manage images from different sources and interface with various other systems, e.g., Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Radiological Information Systems (RIS) and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). Sectra Core uses DICOM and similar interface standards. Typical users are trained professionals, including, but not limited to, medical, technicians, system administrators and IT staff.
