Intended purpose

A reusable dental handpiece including a chuck that is connected to a dental unit to use for preparing teeth for restorations (e.g., fillings) or for crowns and bridges and for polishing teeth, etc. It is used in dentistry to hold burs and files and disposable prophy cups and has a turbine driven by compressed air and a water spray system for cooling.
