Intended purpose

The ZCA Longevity Snap-In Cup with Spacers is indicated for cemented use in skeletally mature individuals undergoing primary or revision surgery for rehabilitating hips damaged as a result of noninflammatory degenerative joint disease (NIDJD) or its composite diagnoses of osteoarthritis, avascular necrosis, traumatic arthritis, slipped capital epiphysis, fused hip, fracture of the pelvis, and diastrophic variant.

Functional description

This acetabular cup contains a snap-in configuration and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) spacers. The device provides additional constraint of the femoral head within the cup to help minimize the risk of dislocation. Available in a 32mm ID neutral face cup. Manufactured from Longevity UHMWPE. Intended for cemented use only.
