Intended purpose

A sterile, non-absorbable, implantable device designed to be inserted into the medullary canal of a bone during orthopaedic surgery to prevent cement progression in the diaphysis/excessive bine cement usage and therefore facilitate cement pressurisation to achieve cement-bone interdigitation during the introduction of an implant.
