Intended purpose
A sterile device to treat anatomical abnormalities of the vertebrae by providing mechanical stability and sufficient space for bone fusion. It is intended to prevent vertebral slipping during fusion and is typically a small, hollow and/or porous, threaded or fenestrated cylinder made of synthetic polymer implanted between the bones or bone grafts of the spine.
