Intended purpose
Indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in cardiovascular and neurovascular procedures, but not for use in opthalmic procedures
Functional description
The Polypropylene Monofilament Non Absorbable Suture is placed using a needle holder. The needle end of the suture is grasped using a needle holder and then driven through the tissue. The needle point is then removed and the suture tied using standard surgical procedure. These sutures are gradually encapsulated by fibrous connective tissue but are not absorbed into the body
