Intended purpose
Surgipro II polypropylene sutures are indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in cardiovascular, and ophthalmic tissues.
Functional description
Surgipro II polypropylene sutures elicit a minimal acute inflammatory reaction in tissues, followed by gradual encapsulation of the suture by fibrous connective tissue. Surgipro II sutures are not absorbed, nor are any significant change in strength retention known to occur in vivo.
