Intended purpose
Intended for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in cardiovascular, ophthalmic and neurological procedures.
Functional description
Monofilament, synthetic, non-absorbable, sterile surgical suture composed of an isotactic crystalline stereo-isomer of Polypropylene.Initially elicits a minimal inflammatory reaction in tissues followed by gradual encapsulation of the suture by fibrous connective tissue.
