Intended purpose

Functional description

The M.R.I. Plastic Single Lumen Implanted Port with Groshong Catheter is a totally implantable vascular access device consisting of an injection port with a self sealing silicone septum and an attachable, valved silicone catheter. Port access is performed by percutaneous needle insertion using a non-coring needle.
