NuPort-LPA with Polyurethane Catheter Complete Set - Port, infusion, implantable

Intended purpose

The NuPort-LPA is indicated for repeated access to the vascular system for injections, infusion of drugs, administration of blood or blood products, and/or withdrawal of blood including power injections of contrast media.

Functional description

The NuPort-LPA is an implantable venous port which is CT and MRI compatible. The port consists of a self-sealing injection septum which is attached to the reservoir base plate. The port is accessed percutaneously by non-coring needle. The radiopaque catheter is available in various French sizes (5.0-9.0); catheter lengths (50-70cm) and is pre-attached or detached. A complete percutaneous introducer set for implantation via the Seldinger technique is also included.
