Intended purpose

Femoral stem, coated with porous titanium and hydroxyapatite ceramic, designed to be implanted in the femur without cement. Indications include: - Primary or secondary coxarthrosis - Femoral head fracture or necrosis - Femoral neck fracture - Inflammatory arthritis (rheumatoid arthritis, etc.) - Dysplasia - Congenital hip dislocation

Functional description

Cementless anatomical femoral stem with a neck-shaft angle to be chosen according to patient's hip morphotype; SPS HA: 134°, no retroversion of the neck and SPS Evolution: 129°, neck retroversion of 5°. The stem has a 15° axial helitorsion within the metaphyseal zone and an anterior sagittal curvature; the roughened grooves provide anchoring and stability. The stem has an external lateral flare and is coated with porous titanium and hydroxyapatite in the metaphyseal zone.
