Intended purpose

The Quadra-H femoral stem is designed for use in total or partial hip arthroplasty, for primary or revision surgery to provide increased patient mobility and reduced pain by replacing the damaged hip joint.

Functional description

The Quadra-H is a cementless standard femoral stem in titanium-niobium alloy with hydroxyapatite (HA) coating. The HA coating on the stem has chemical characteristics similar to the ones in human bone which stimulates the bony ingrowth which leads to long term stability.
