Intended purpose
The device is applied to a body site, e.g. finger, ear, bridge of nose or foot of neonate, paediatric or adult patient, in order to transmit light through the skin to be absorbed by the oxyhaemoglobin and deoxyhaemoglobin, in the arterial tissue blood. Signals are received by the parent device, which displays the results.
