Intended purpose

Indicated for patients with osteoarthritis, traumatic arthritis, polyarthritis, and/or severe chondrocalcinosis of the patellofemoral joint, the salvage of previously failed surgical attempts (e.g., arthroscopy, lateral release, cartilage transplantation), history of patellar dislocation or patella fracture, dysplasia-induced degeneration.

Functional description

For the replacement of the femoral trochlea of the patello-femoral joint that has been affected by the disease process and/or injury. Manufactured from Zimaloy® Cobalt-Chromium-Molybdenum Alloy. The posterior surface of the implant is precoated with poly(methylmethacrylate) [PMMA] precoat. For cemented use only.
