Intended purpose

DCM Arcom UHMWPE rotating tibial bearing component intended for skeletally mature individuals undergoing primary knee arthroplasty for: Painful and disabled knee joint resulting from any of the following: osteoarthritis, traumatic arthritis or rheumatoid arthritis with one or more compartments involved; Correction of valgus, varus, or post-traumatic deformity; Correction or revision of unsuccessful osteotomy or arthrodesis.

Functional description

DCM Arcom UHMWPE rotating tibial bearing designed to articulate with cruciate retaining Vanguard femoral components. The tibial bearing has a distal stem that mates with a hole in the tibial component stem. This allows rotation of the bearing on the tibial base. Limitation of rotation is achieved by the natural soft tissue structure of the patient’s knee joint. Tibial bearing size corresponds to the femoral component size.
