Intended purpose

A fixed knee insert component of the GENUS PANTHEON knee. The GENUS PANTHEON knee is intended for treatment of patients who are candidates for total knee arthroplasty per the following indications for use: - Complex primary surgeries, - Moderate bone loss, - Revisions, where other devices or treatments have failed.

Functional description

Made of UHMWPE. Locking system to allow the insert to be fixed to the tibial tray. Posterior slope of 3 degrees. Hole in central post for reinforcement screw with poly bushing to avoid contact between screw & tibial tray. Modified geometry to reduce profile at base of insert of one size to allow inserts to couple with tibial trays of a smaller size, without the insert overhanging the profile of the tibia to reduce the risk of conflict between soft tissue/ligaments and prosthetic components.
