Pulmonary function testing filter/mouthpiece

Intended purpose

The bidirectional filters are intended to protect the patients airways effectively from exogenous microbial loads, thus reducing the risk of extrinsic colonisation and infection. The filters are used to help reduce cross contamination between patient and machine and can either be used on a patient circuit or inserted into the patient's mouth. The luer port connector is used for monitoring respiratory and/or anaesthesia gases.
