Intended purpose

A surgical instrument used for taking a tissue or bone sample for the purpose of a biopsy. A punch biopsy has a circular blade ranging in sizes, which is attached to a plastic handle used to produce a cylindrical core sample. The blade is made of high grade stainless steel alloy and is sterilised by gamma radiation.This device is invasive and for single use.
