Intended purpose

The purpose of reamers is to prepare the implantation site in orthopedic surgery of the hip joint. They are intended to be used with a reamer handle and power tool. The reamers are composed of a cross that allows to the reamer to be linked with the reamer handle and the shell with the pushed round teeth. The reamer has a spherical form like the head of the femur to embrace the shape of acetabulum cavity. The reamers are reusable.
