Intended purpose

A blood storage refrigerator that is used to preserve pharmaceuticals, blood, and blood products by storing them at cold temperatures between °2 and 6 °C. Appropriate for use by healthcare professionals in hospital, clinical, field and transport environments where it may be exposed to rain, dust, rough handling, and extremes in temperature and humidity. Intended for use by skilled care providers with knowledge of emergency medical services (EMS) or personnel with a basic knowledge of blood transportation, and by first responders under the direction of skilled medical care providers.
