Intended purpose

The Precision Remote Control is used with the Boston Scientific Precision Spinal Cord Stimulation System as an aid in the management of chronic intractable pain. The Remote Control is used to program the Implantable Pulse Generator (IPG) and the External Trial Stimulator (ETS)using infrared (IR) and radio frequency (RF).

Functional description

The Precision Remote Control is battery operated using infrared (IR) and radio frequency (RF) communication to program the Implantable Pulse Generator (IPG) and the External Trial Stimulator (ETS).
