Intended purpose

The device is intended to be used as a hand held, time-cycled, portable, gas powered ventilatory resuscitator within emergency transport vehicles or critical care units. Additionaly it will may be operated utilising a compressed oxygen source. The device is intended for use on adults or children with either respiratory distress, insufficient, or no respiratory function.
