Intended purpose

The Lateral Retractor System instruments are navigated instruments intended to be used during preparation and placement of Medtronic implants during spinal surgery to assist the surgeon in precisely locating anatomical structures in either open or minimally invasive procedures. The Lateral Retractor System is used to prepare the patient's disc space for implant insertion in a surgical setting.
