Aequalis Reversed Adapter Metaphysis Union Screw - Reverse shoulder prosthesis

Intended purpose

A component of a reversed shoulder prosthesis intended to replace the shoulder joint in order to both relieve pain and to improve the mobility of the shoulder joint with respect to the health condition in preoperative.

Functional description

When the glenoid bone stock appears to be insufficient during a primary shoulder joint replacement surgery or a revision, the use of the screw (in conjunction with the Aequalis Reversed Hemi Prosthesis Adaptor) allows the transformation of a reversed shoulder prosthesis into a non-reversed hemi-prosthesis.
