Intended purpose

The Equinoxe Small Reverse Glenoid Baseplate is implanted in the patient as part of a reverse total shoulder prosthesis. The glenoid baseplate is attached to the scapula using Exactech compression screws and serves as the foundation for glenosphere attachment. The Small Reverse Glenoid Baseplates are designed to treat patients with a small glenohumeral anatomy.

Functional description

The Equinoxe Glenoid Plate is implanted in the patient's glenoid cavity and mates with a glenosphere which serves to replace the articular surface of the patient's glenoid as part of a reverse shoulder replacement. The Small Reverse 10 degree Superior Augment Glenoid Plate is designed to minimize the removal of the inferior cortical bone when reaming a superiorly worn glenoid in order to correct its inclination. The device is made from Titanium.
