Intended purpose

Medacta M-Vizion femoral system is intended to replace the native femoral neck in revision hip arthroplasty.

Functional description

Device is a component of the M-Vizion Femoral System. It is a modular distal stem manufactured from forged Ti-6Al-7Nb alloy. The distal stem is assembled to the proximal by means of a modular taper junction to combine into various femoral geometries. The stem is a sand blasted finish and is intended for cementless fixation.
