Intended purpose

Medacta M-Vizion femoral system is intended to replace the native femoral neck in revision hip arthroplasty.

Functional description

Device is a component of the M-Vizion Femoral System. It is a modular proximal body manufactured from forged Ti-6Al-7Nb alloy with a titanium porous coating for cementless fixation and a mirror polished neck. The proximal body is assembled to the distal femoral stem by means of a modular taper junction and locking screw to combine into various femoral geometries.
