Intended purpose

The Versius Instrument Bedside Unit is a remotely controlled surgical device that is intended to accurately control surgical endoscopic instruments including blunt and sharp endoscopic dissectors, scissors, forceps, needle holders, endoscopic retractors, electro-surgery and accessories for endoscopic manipulation of tissue including grasping, cutting, blunt and sharp dissection, approximation, ligation, electrosurgery and suturing during general, urologic, gynaecological and thoracic minimal access surgical procedures.
