Intended purpose

The Renaissance System software is used with the Renaissance navigation system hardware to allow surgeons to perform computer assisted surgery. The software allows for the processing and conversion of 2D fluoroscopic images from standard C-Arms into a volumetric 3D image. These images can then be used to plan surgical procedures either on the Workstation or on an offsite PC.
