Intended purpose

It is specifically intended for supra and subgingival scaling, oral prophylaxis, general and periodontal debridement in terms of removal of plaque, biofilm and gross calculus from shallow to deep periodontal pockets, for furcation involvement and developmental concavities, and is also used for removal of orthodontic cement.
