Intended purpose

This a device referred to a a tip or insert that is intended to be placed into an ultrasonic handpiece as part of an ultrasonic scaler which together deliver ultrasonic energy to be used in the the oral cavity for the removal of accretions from tooth surfaces during oral prophylaxis and periodontal therapy as well as other dental procedures in the mouth.
