Intended purpose

This is a device in the form of tip that is intended to be connected to the handpiece of a ultrasonic scaler system. The tip transmits ultrasonic energy from the generator into the oral cavity that is used to remove accretions from tooth surfaces during oral prophylaxis and periodontal therapy.
