Scanning dental implant abutment

Intended purpose

This is a prefabricated device that is intended to be used by screwing into an implant to mimic and act as a temporary copy of a dental implant abutment in a patients mouth. This allows the dentist to confirm the position of the final dental implant body during dental implant restorative procedures. The device in position is then scanned by an intra oral scanner or an xray external device.
