Intended purpose

Screwdrivers are used for placement and adjustment of prosthetic restorations by dentist at the clinic or by dental technician in dental laboratory. For intraoral use, all tools must be thoroughly sterilized before use. Before using the screwdriver, check that it is the correct size and shape for the screw head that will be used. Only use screwdrivers that are in perfect condition. A worn driver can make subsequent removal of the prosthesis impossible and can damage a screw head, so they should be regularly replaced.
