Intended purpose

A sterile, single-use device (pre-loaded onto a disposable inserter) designed to be implanted into bone for the attachment of soft tissues via a suture attached to the device. It is typically used in open or arthroscopic orthopaedic surgical procedures including ankle stabilisation, achilles tendon repairs, collateral ligament repairs, extensor tendon repairs, scapholunate repairs, epicondyle repairs and biceps repairs, and functions as an alternative to drilling a hole in bone for passing a suture. This device is available with various anchor sizes, with one or two sutures attached and needles. The anchor and suture material are non-bioabsorbable.
