Intended purpose

The handpiece is intended to connect a generator and a shear. There is an ultrasonic transducer inside the handpiece to convert electrical energy to mechanical energy. The handpiece has a cable that connects to a generator. The handpiece converts high frequency alternating current to high frequency mechanical motion, and transmits the motion to the shears.
