Neurosorb® 175 - Sponge, neuro

Intended purpose

Neurosorb® Patties are used predominantly in open brain surgery, to absorb CSF and blood. They are also employed for cleaning the surgical field, for protecting the surface and vessels of the brain against injury (retraction spatula), and for absorption from haemostatic sponges or coverings.

Functional description

Neurosorb patties are manufactured from viscose material. Available with or without x-ray marking and can either be delivered with a sewn or welded thread to facilitate identification and postoperative counting. Are delivered on a carrier card if not otherwise specified.
