Intended purpose

Device designed to help determine the appropriate size and placement of an implant prior to or during surgery. Typically available as a graduated set or an individual item with patterns/sizes corresponding to the size of the implant to be used. Placed over X-ray or within patient body to aid surgeon in selection of final implant size. Device is not intended to be implanted and is for transient use only.
